Description |
JOB OVERVIEW:
Manage consumer and business notebook product strategy, pricing, forecasting and sales analysis for Toshiba’s Latin American business. This position is based in Irvine, CA. No relocation assistance offered but out of state candidates encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Define and create the product strategy for consumer and commercial notebooks in Latin America. •Develop a roadmap plan and define product lifecycle management (PLM) strategies for Latin America. •Manage the PSI planning/forecasting for the laptop product lines. Analyze sales-in, sales-out, and channel inventory at distribution and in-country channels. Perform gap analysis and analyze market trends with regards to the PSI. Recommend and implement pricing and promotion actions to ensure achievement of the required sell through of the product. •Develop proposals working with the product development team for future products and feature enhancements using VOC that will meet the needs of the Latin American markets. •Reseach and analyze key competitors in the Latin American markets, keep updated of competitive market conditions. Implement measures to highlight Toshiba's advantages. •Be the product champion both internally and externally for Toshiba laptops in Latin America. Create and deliver product and technology presentations to the Latin American sales team and customers. •Ensure the development and maintenance of close relationships with the Latin American team in Mexico as well as in country managers, gather the Voice of the Customer through partner and sales team feedback. •Develop and present summaries of weekly analysis and weekly forecasts to senior management. •Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements |
REQUIREMENTS:
•BS/BA Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience. •Fluent and proficient in Spanish and English with strong verbal and written communication skills. •A mininum of eight (8) years of directly applicable experience in the computer technology field required with a preference dealing with Latin American markets. •Experience with pricing, forecasting and financial models, tools and processes required. •Experience with retail and reseller assortment process highly desired. •Familiarity of PC architecture and PC market preferred. •Demonstrated ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget with meticulous attention to detail. •Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task in fast moving, dynamic work environment. •Proven track record for developing effective working relationships (both internal and external), building team consensus, and collaborating across functional lines. •Strong analytical skills. •Working proficiency with full MS Office professional suite. •Up to 40% international travel.
